Team Size: 5

Role: Game Designer, Script Writer & Video Editor

My Design team was tasked with creating a pitch for a game with one mechanic chosen from each member of the group. We had to make sure that each mechanic will not be dependent on another and can easily be removed if need be. After we created our mechanics we put it all together in our pitch video that you can view below.

The next part of this project was to take the digital version of the game & mechanics and convert them into an analog game. This was a exciting challenge as we had to come up with many ways to get certain mechanics implemented as a board game. The rules were to replace a mechanic that is in the digital version and add in a new one in the analog. After collaborating with our team we wrote up a game design document. You can view the document above.

After working on the project, I worked on a reflection document to reflect on what problems we faced and how did we overcome them.
